As promised here is the first of my corsetry video quick-guides. Designed to introduce you to corsetry if you’re a beginner, these videos will familiarise you with basic tools and materials. Check out my first video on the different types of corsetry boning below! It’s the longest of the videos but there are lots of boning types to go through. As well as comparing the properties of spiral and sprung steel, I show you exactly how to cut your own and seal the ends, and also cover lacing bones and busks.
