So I’ve now had enough people buying my corset making course to start getting photos back. I’ve had lots of emails from you about your experience of learning how to make a corset for the first time, a few from readers making their 2nd or 3rd corsets. One even attempting the corset dress. But only a handful of photos!
So to encourage more piccys for the new gallery that you can reach through the ‘your corset pictures’ tab above, I’m extending the special 25% off offer that was due to finish today. Because let’s face it, everyone loves to look at pictures of everyone else’s handiwork, and everyone loves a bargain! So if you fancy making your first corset, check out my course on how to make a corset, and then check out the new gallery for the latest ‘hot off the sewing table’ corsets to get some inspiration – and don’t forget to send in your corset pictures to be featured in the gallery. Even if you didn’t use my course or patterns, we still want to see your needlework! 🙂

I just want to say that I’m so excited I found your site! I’m in Japan right now but I can’t wait to get home to NY where I have a sewing machine so I can buy your e-book and start sewing! I’ve wanted to start corset training for awhile but kept finding all the corsets designed for that purpose were insanely expensive so I’m excited to try and make my own!
I haven’t sewn much before though, a few simple things. How much time (rough estimate)do you think it will take start to finish to make the first one?
Thanks for the awesome site, can’t wait to start when I get home!

It varies from person to person, obviously. But as a rough guide I’d give yourself a week of evenings and maybe a weekend if you’re a beginner, but you’ll get much faster as you make more.
